About Us
Why We Do What We Do
In German-speaking regions, the security sector frequently struggles with a shortage of professional expertise, thereby compromising the safety of all parties involved. FOXPEDITION was founded to change this. Our guiding principle is the protection of people, grounded in operational experience, realistic planning, and expert knowledge. Absolute security may never be achievable, but we strive to get as close as possible.
How We Work
We identify risks and translate them into clear, actionable decisions. Our work combines years of operational experience with analytical and academic thinking. We plan realistically, execute professionally and discreetly, and never make false promises. Discretion, honesty, trust, and professional excellence are at the heart of everything we do. This approach brings clarity to complex situations and ensures security when it matters most.
What We Deliver
We enable organizations, projects, and individuals to operate safely, even under demanding conditions. Our clients value our solution-oriented approach, transparent communication, and professional discretion. Our measure of success is simple: a project completed without incidents, with everyone returning home safely.

Since 2022, he has shaped FOXPEDITION into a global advisory firm for medical and protection, providing guidance on security, medical, and safety concepts, and leading multinational teams in planning and operations. Clients benefit from his integrated perspective on protection, supply chains, compliance, and operational excellence, combined with hands-on leadership.
Operational- & Project Experience
Maximilian worked for 12 years as an Advanced Care Paramedic and has been a Close Protection Operator since 2022, operating in multiple countries. He was managing crowd control, medical support, and physical security for major events in Germany and the Middle East, while safeguarding delegations at conferences. In disaster response, he has worked in mobile medical teams and field hospitals, gaining deep insight into the demands of speed, triage, and interoperability in multinational structures.
Medicine, Offshore, HSE
In the offshore sector, he has combined emergency and primary care with advanced rescue concepts, alongside HSE consulting for operational safety on ships and installations, including compliance and risk mitigation. This field experience directly informs FOXPEDITION’s audits, SOPs, and training programs, from hazard assessment to operational readiness.
Academic Background
Maximilian is a PhD candidate at the College of Remote & Offshore Medicine, focusing on healthcare in remote and offshore settings. He holds an Executive MBA in General Management from SMBS Salzburg and an MBA in Security and Disaster Management from Hochschule Fresenius. As a university lecturer, he develops and teaches General Management in the Emergency Management program for professionals from fire services, military, police, EMS, and civil protection.
Qualifications
His skills as a paramedic, personal security specialist, and NEBOSH Safety Advisor are complemented by certifications as an Operations Manager and Security Risk Manager in crisis regions. This combination enables robust, integrated solutions—from personal and event protection to medical operational support in challenging environments.
