Our Approach

Accessing the Website and Server Logs

Hosting

Contacting Us by Email
If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide (your email address, name, and the content of your message) solely to handle your enquiry. The data is deleted once it is no longer needed and no legal retention obligations apply.
Newsletter (FOXPEDITION SITREP)
When you subscribe to our "FOXPEDITION SITREP" newsletter, we process your email address and, to document your consent, your IP address and the time of sign-up and confirmation. Sign-up uses a double opt-in process: after entering your address you receive an email asking you to confirm. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with future effect, for example via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter email. For sending and management we use the service Kit (ConvertKit LLC, Boise, Idaho, USA) as a processor under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Personal data may be transferred to the USA; the transfer is safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46 GDPR and/or certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Your data is stored for as long as you remain subscribed and deleted after you unsubscribe, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
